Hi,

I would like to use Berkeley DB XML for a PHP-based project, but I'm not
sure about the PHP support. I didn't find any documentation about the
PHP API, only Java, C++ and Tcl (except those 12 examples).

Installing the PHP-module under Linux wasn't a problem, but do you think
it's a good idea to use BDB XML with PHP?

Thank you,
Tobias Neumann

Hi I'm now trying to use PHP API of bdbxml for my final project at university;
it's hard because as you said there is only few documentation, but I think that
can be done and better If we help each other throught this mailing list.

There is the wiki and the George Schlossnagle presentation, available at
Berkeley Developers Zone that can help starting. And can use too the Java
starting guide, because for some things it's really similar to PHP I think.

There is available module for php in the base installation.
You can read some d0ocumentation about API and intallation procedure here
